KNDE-FM, a radio station in College Station, TX, wanted to grow its audience database during a slower summer season and stay connected with listeners who might be away for college break. Working with Second Street Lab, the station used a digital “Blockbuster Blow Out” sweepstakes to drive engagement while also creating a revenue opportunity through a local real estate sponsor, Worth Residential.
Second Street Lab helped KNDE-FM run the six-week promotion with targeted survey questions and a prize package the station already had on hand, making the campaign cost-effective. The results included more than 1,300 entries, 1,100+ new opt-ins for KNDE-FM, 660+ opt-ins for Worth Residential, 100+ hot leads for the sponsor, and $8,300 in sponsorship revenue for the station.
