KCLR-FM, part of Zimmer Radio and Marketing Group in Columbia, MO, wanted a way to create advertiser-focused promotions that would engage listeners and help a local sponsor generate new customers. Working with Second Street Lab, the station partnered with Steve’s Pest Control, Inc. and used a football-themed quiz tied to the local college team to attract audience participation and collect leads.

Second Street Lab helped design and launch “What Kind of Football Fan Are You: Are You the Best or a Pest?” with a registration form, newsletter opt-ins, and survey questions to qualify prospects. The campaign delivered 244 advertiser opt-ins, 77 homeowners without a current pest control provider, 24 new customers, and $9,000 in revenue for the sponsor, while KCLR-FM also earned $2,500 in sponsorship revenue.
