KAKE-TV Secured 6 Sponsorships for Valentine’s Quiz

KAKE-TV, a Gray Television station in Wichita, Kansas, wanted to drive sponsorship revenue with a fun, viewer-engaging Valentine’s Day promotion. Using Second Street Lab’s quiz and sweepstakes platform, the station launched a “How Cupid Are You?” Facebook quiz as part of a series of sponsored quarterly quizzes.

Second Street Lab helped KAKE-TV package title and prize sponsorships, promote the quiz across TV, web, mobile, email, and Facebook, and collect optional registration details from participants. The campaign generated significant sponsorship revenue, nearly 5,000 entries in five days, 1,748 quiz takes on day one, and an 87% opt-in rate; sponsors also saw increases in Facebook Likes and reported customers mentioning the quiz in-store.
