WEEI-FM, the Boston sports radio station, wanted to boost revenue and fan engagement during the long football season. Working with Second Street Lab, and sponsored by Staples, WEEI-FM launched a Pro Football Pick ’Em Challenge that gave New England Patriots fans a chance to win prizes while driving interest in the station’s promotions.
Second Street Lab helped WEEI-FM execute a heavily promoted contest across on-air, web, mobile, email, SMS, and social channels. The campaign generated $50,000 in revenue, 5,583 participants, and more than 600,000 page views, while also delivering 63,043 new Facebook likes and 25,561 new Twitter followers.
