Using Second Street Lab’s sweepstakes-style contest solution, the paper invited readers to choose wish-list gift cards from 30 local advertisers.
Second Street Lab helped The Southern Illinoisan run two rounds of the Holiday Wishes contest, tied to its print gift guide sections and sponsored by local businesses. The campaign generated more than $9,000 in revenue and produced 285 opt-ins overall, including 147 for Today’s Deal and 138 for the Local Business Offers List.
