Holiday Sweeps Features 12 Sponsors + Drives Over $10K

KDRV-TV, a Heartland Media station in Medford, Oregon, wanted a holiday promotion that could drive revenue, grow its database, and offer value to multiple advertisers. Working with Second Street Lab, the station planned a Countdown to Christmas sweepstakes that featured daily sponsor spotlights and prize giveaways.

Second Street Lab helped KDRV-TV launch the 13-day contest with 12 sponsors, on-air promotion, social sharing, and an opt-in entry mechanism that encouraged referrals. The campaign generated $10,500 in its first year, 3,961 registrants, 13,690 total entries, and 3,017 opt-ins; it later grew to $15,000 in revenue in its second year.
