UpNorthLive.com, the website affiliated with WPBN-TV in Traverse City, Michigan, had a highly successful deals program but needed a way to keep its annual UpNorth Golf Card attractive and profitable across a long selling season. The challenge was to package many golf-course offers into a single promotion that would drive sales from November through September.
Second Street Lab helped implement the UpNorth Golf Card promotion, featuring multiple regional golf cards with discounted rounds at 52 courses and promotional exposure for participating courses through TV spots, landing pages, and sportscast features. The results were strong: Second Street Lab’s program helped UpNorthLive.com generate more than $200,000 from the golf card alone and $250,000 in total deal-card revenue for the year.
