WFMB-AM, part of Neuhoff Media in Springfield, Illinois, partnered with Second Street Lab to help advertiser Robertson Lawn Care build awareness before lawn care season and grow its Facebook presence. The challenge was to use a prize-based promotion to reach more people, generate social engagement, and capture qualified leads for the lawn care business.
Second Street Lab helped launch a Facebook sweepstakes around Cardinals best seats at Busch Stadium, promoted through the station’s air, email, website, and social channels, with a lead form asking if entrants wanted a free estimate. The campaign drew 1,691 entries, generated 40 qualified leads, delivered $2,000 in revenue for WFMB-AM, and increased the advertiser’s Facebook Likes by 62% in one week.
