Entercom New Orleans needed a way to help a local community bank launch a new MasterCard gift card program before the holidays while also growing the bank’s Facebook audience and email database. The station partnered with Second Street Lab and used a Facebook-based $500 gift card sweepstakes to drive awareness, engagement, and gift card sales.
Second Street Lab helped deliver an integrated promotion that included radio spots, email, display, mobile, and social media support, plus a sharing incentive to boost viral spread. The campaign generated $13,000 for Entercom New Orleans, helped the bank sell more than 1,000 gift cards for roughly $100,000 in revenue, doubled Facebook Likes in two weeks, and collected 562 new email addresses.
