Basketball Bracket Campaign Brings in $15K for WPSD-TV

WPSD-TV wanted to boost participation in its long-running March Mania college basketball bracket while attracting a new advertiser, and partnered with Second Street Lab to expand the promotion. The station also aimed to grow users, increase social engagement, and support sponsor branding for Taylor Automotive and Union City Ford.

Second Street Lab helped WPSD-TV package the bracket with Facebook sweepstakes, quizzes, display ads, and pre-roll video to drive awareness and collect leads. The campaign generated $15,000 in revenue for WPSD-TV, delivered more than 1,100 bracket users for the station’s highest total in three years, and produced over 2,500 sweepstakes entries and 2,500 quiz completions, along with 252 new Facebook likes for the sponsor.
