EBSCO Academy Boosts Content Discoverability and Engagement Growth Rate by 125.8% with SearchUnify

EBSCO Academy, the Salesforce-native eLearning platform from EBSCO Information Services, faced limited content discoverability and a lack of personalized search inside Salesforce—native search couldn’t surface authenticated or external resources, federate outside documentation, respect content permissions, or provide deep user-behavior analytics. To solve these issues, EBSCO Academy engaged SearchUnify’s unified cognitive platform.

SearchUnify implemented federated, AI-powered search within Salesforce—adding a custom search box, authenticated metadata exposure, intent and keyword boosting, content-weight adjustments, rich facets and previews, plus detailed analytics and session tracking. As a result, EBSCO Academy’s monthly growth in average content views jumped from about 20% to 45.16%, a 125.8% increase in the rate of growth, while SearchUnify also gave EBSCO better content visibility control and actionable usage insights.
