Strengthening The Project Management Process To Further Improve Internal Stakeholder Satisfaction

Société Générale Algérie, an affiliate of the Société Générale Group founded in 2000 with a nationwide branch network serving hundreds of thousands of customers, needed to improve how it planned and delivered IT and operations projects. Its Information System & Project Department was managing a portfolio of more than 200 projects across 50+ project managers but struggled with inconsistent processes, limited portfolio visibility and unreliable capacity forecasting, which hindered stakeholder satisfaction and resource allocation.

The bank implemented Sciforma PPM (demand, resource, capacity and portfolio management, planning, dashboards and training) to consolidate project data and standardize practices. The solution provided clear visualizations and automated reporting, improved resource utilization and budget-driven decision-making, reduced manual data work, and strengthened PPM oversight and continuous improvement in project delivery.
