NXP Semiconductors, a global leader in secure connectivity for embedded applications, faced fragmented project and portfolio management after the Freescale merger: multiple legacy tools (Primavera, MS Project, Enovia, etc.) left R&D, IT and manufacturing without a single system of record or clear cross-organization visibility for spend, capacity and product roadmaps. NXP implemented Sciforma’s cloud PPM—combining demand management, resource and capacity planning, project/time management and portfolio analytics with HR and ERP integrations and implementation training—to standardize processes and centralize data. The result: four systems consolidated into one, reporting that once took up to 10 weeks now runs in 20 minutes, faster, higher-quality decision making, automated financial feeds for tax/IFRS benefits, improved resource planning, and immediate top-down portfolio and roadmap visibility.
