Driving Digital Transformation by Modernizing PMO Processes and Adopting Next-Gen PPM Technology

Horizon Credit Union (HZCU), a Pacific Northwest financial cooperative founded in 1947 with roughly $1B in assets and ~70,000 members, outgrew its manual, departmental project practices and needed to modernize PMO processes to support digital transformation across branches, contact centers and eServices. Disparate tools, no centralized project hub, limited resource visibility and inconsistent reporting were creating delivery bottlenecks and obscuring true ROI, prompting an enterprise PPM initiative launched in August 2018.

HZCU selected Sciforma as its enterprise PPM platform and moved from kickoff to production in under a year (Jan–Apr 2019). The cloud solution centralized project intelligence, improved resource management and scheduling, and delivered executive dashboards and collaboration capabilities. As a result HZCU has fewer delivery bottlenecks, clear at-a-glance resource visibility, faster reporting for leadership, and a roadmap to expand time tracking, portfolio forecasting and Agile support across the organization.
