The Centre for Drug Research and Development (CDRD) is Canada’s national life‑sciences venture that identifies, validates and advances discoveries into commercial opportunities and therapies. CDRD faced fragmented, manual PPM processes—relying on spreadsheets, email and shared drives—which left leadership without real‑time visibility into whether resources were aligned to strategic portfolios and slowed project cycle times and decision making.

CDRD implemented Sciforma’s cloud PPM solution (Canadian data center) to centralize project data, resource management, scheduling, reporting and collaboration. Since go‑live, teams can map and view resource allocation by strategy, find project and portfolio information more easily, and use intuitive scheduling and time‑tracking dashboards—improvements that are already enhancing reporting and are expected to shorten project cycle times as training and wider rollout continue.
