A SAVO Case Study
FindLaw, a major legal information portal and lawyer directory owned by Thomson Reuters, faced significant challenges in managing its massive, multi-million-page website. Their business model depended on dominating search results, but the enormous scale led to severe indexation problems where vast portions of content were undiscovered by Google or dropped from its index unpredictably. SAVO was engaged to address these enterprise-level technical SEO and crawl budget constraints.
SAVO designed and implemented a robust sitemap system that programmatically segmented and surfaced FindLaw's full URL inventory to Google. This solution, combined with broader architectural SEO work, resulted in millions of pages being indexed. Despite major Google algorithm updates, SAVO helped grow FindLaw's monthly organic traffic value by 43%, from $3.9M to $5.6M, securing $49.6M in cumulative value during the engagement.
