How Does an Integrated Technology Approach Enable Collaborative Supplier Experiences

PLDT, the largest fully integrated telecommunications company in the Philippines, needed to modernize manual, paper- and email-based procurement processes that were limiting efficiency, visibility, and user experience. To support its digital transformation and cloud growth, PLDT turned to SAP Ariba solutions and SAP Business Network, alongside SAP S/4HANA integration.

SAP implemented seven SAP Ariba solutions and integrated them with PLDT’s existing IT landscape in just 22 weeks, ahead of schedule and within budget. The result was faster sourcing and contract cycle times, fewer manual errors, improved spend visibility across business units, and a more intuitive user experience; in addition, PLDT reported $580 million under contract through SAP Ariba Contracts and $1.4 billion in network spend through SAP Business Network in the first three months.
