Vodafone Group Plc faced fragmented, manual reward and recognition processes across its global workforce and needed to standardize, automate, and modernize those systems to improve HR efficiency and the employee experience. To address this, Vodafone partnered with SAP SuccessFactors, deploying the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation solution integrated with Employee Central as part of the SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite.

SAP SuccessFactors implemented cloud-based, integrated compensation and recognition programs—including automated approvals for the manager-nominated “Vodafone Stars,” peer-to-peer “thank you” functionality, and mobile-friendly nomination flows—resulting in improved data accuracy and system performance, greater HR efficiency, reduced support FTEs, and higher user satisfaction. The solution now serves more than 90,000 eligible employees across 40+ countries and standardized global training and processes for Vodafone.
