Traction on Demand, a leading Salesforce consulting and software development firm, faced rapid growth and needed to recruit many employees quickly while providing a positive candidate experience and avoiding costly external recruiters. The challenge was to leverage existing technology to automate candidate capture, centralize data in CRM, and minimize manual effort and added expense.
Traction built a recruitment system in two weeks using Clicktools, Salesforce, and Marketo—creating Clicktools forms that populated a Salesforce custom object and Marketo-driven automated communications. The automated workflows attracted about 70 candidates per week, enabled targeted outreach and scoring, and resulted in 30 hires in 12 months with no additional capital spend, hundreds of applicant records, and new business opportunities from impressed candidates.
