DTDC Express Limited, a leading Indian parcel-delivery company with over 12,000 franchisees and operations in 240 countries, needed to unify and digitalize sales and billing to support rapid growth. Fragmented logistics and revenue systems made pricing complex, slowed tariff configuration, and limited sales visibility and franchisee management, so the company sought a scalable IT foundation to standardize processes and accelerate expansion.

Working with SAP, Cognizant and Knack Systems, DTDC deployed SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management and SAP Sales Cloud to centralize sales, billing and franchisee workflows. The solution automated invoicing, provided a single customer view, reduced tariff lines from 40 million to 800,000, enabled nontechnical users to configure new tariffs, and increased payments handled by the same staff by 1.5×—resulting in faster processes, improved visibility and a simpler, more scalable IT landscape.
