Tetra Pak, the world’s largest food packaging company with about 25,500 employees and operations in more than 160 countries, faced fragmented travel and expense processes. A patchwork of tools and up to 33 travel agencies created a decentralized supplier base, inconsistent policies and limited ability to enforce controls, making travel and expense management inefficient and confusing for employees worldwide.

Beginning in 2015 Tetra Pak rolled out SAP Concur—Concur Expense in 76 countries and Concur Travel across multiple territories (36 planned by Q3 2022)—consolidating suppliers, standardizing policies and centralizing training and resources on its learning platform. The unified, user-friendly solution streamlined booking and expense workflows, improved policy compliance and operational efficiency, and delivered a consistent, simpler travel experience for employees globally.
