Lindt & Sprüngli Finds a Simple Solution for Complex System Structure

Lindt & Sprüngli, the global chocolatier, faced slow, paper-based travel-expense processing for roughly 2,600 settlements a year and a complex expense structure that required separate reporting of tax-exempt and taxable portions into payroll. Their goals were to digitise and automate workflows, eliminate paper receipt archives and speed up reimbursements while ensuring correct payroll posting.

They implemented SAP Concur Expense with support from Nagarro ES and built a custom HR interface to handle the company’s special tax reporting. Employees now submit receipt photos and approvals are transparent and faster, the paper archive was eliminated, finance performs fewer corrections, reimbursements are paid out sooner, and the solution is being rolled out to other affiliates.
