Gonzaga University, a private Catholic Jesuit institution in Spokane with about 1,133 FTE employees and 7,500 students, needed to replace a paper‑based travel and expense process with a modern, cloud solution to improve data visibility, automate workflows, support sustainability goals, and free up staff time to focus on the university’s mission.

Gonzaga implemented the SAP Concur suite (Expense, Invoice, Travel, Request, Locate and Intelligence), integrated with campus systems and administered by the finance office. The solution automated expense handling (including personal‑expense tracking), improved reporting and traveler safety, and centralized spend.
