Grand Valley Fortifiers, Ltd. (GVF) is an Ontario-based animal nutrition company serving Canadian farmers for over 55 years. GVF faced a cumbersome, paper-based expense process—weekly receipts, Excel templates and manual tax calculations for Ontario’s HST—creating poor visibility, high admin burden and risk of unrecovered or misclaimed tax, with reimbursement processing taking 8–12 hours.

GVF implemented Concur Expense and Brittenford’s ExpenseConnect from the Concur App Center, enabling automatic Canadian tax calculation and direct integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP. With a three-week remote rollout they eliminated paper receipts and manual AP entry; processing that once took 8–12 hours now completes in about 30 minutes, lowering reimbursement costs and improving efficiency and transparency.
