New Era Cap, a global leader in athletic and lifestyle headwear, faced rising customer expectations and technology challenges: serving international markets with traffic spikes, eliminating latency and slow page loads, and accelerating rollouts of new B2B and B2C initiatives while unifying customer experiences. To address these needs, New Era Cap migrated its commerce platform to SAP Commerce Cloud in the public cloud (Microsoft Azure).

Using SAP Commerce Cloud, supported by SAP Services and partner EPAM, New Era implemented a single global platform with multilanguage/multicurrency sites, Kubernetes-driven deployment, and self-service operational tools, while integrating its Cap‑builder customization tool. The migration was completed globally in 21 weeks, the first two releases were deployed in under an hour with no business disruption, and the company has reduced its IT footprint and time spent on infrastructure—enabling faster feature rollouts, richer personalization, and improved customer engagement.
