A SAP Commerce Cloud Case Study

Preview of the Seera Case Study

Powering a Portfolio of Businesses on a Unified, Scalable Electronic Invoicing Framework

Seera Group (SEERA) is a leading travel-services provider in the Middle East and North Africa operating multiple business lines across 22 legal entities. Faced with new Saudi FATOORAH e‑invoicing regulations and more than 2,000 invoices/notes a day across complex, heterogeneous sales platforms, SEERA engaged SAP Commerce Cloud and deployed SAP Document and Reporting Compliance to create a unified, scalable e‑invoicing framework that would ensure regulatory compliance and streamline invoicing operations.

SAP Commerce Cloud implemented SAP Document and Reporting Compliance integrated with SAP S/4HANA and third‑party platforms to centralize e‑document processing, validate invoices, extract QR codes to produce compliant PDFs, and share XML invoices with buyers. The project finished one month ahead of the December 4, 2021 deadline, delivered full compliance with ZATCA FATOORAH, improved transparency and auditability, reduced total cost of ownership through centralized processing, and positioned SEERA to begin phase‑two integration with Saudi Arabia’s e‑invoicing platform.
