Liberty Latin America, a leading telecommunications provider serving millions across Latin America and the Caribbean, needed to rapidly replace in‑store sales during the COVID‑19 pandemic and deliver a unified but regionally flexible e‑commerce experience. To meet diverse market requirements and differing customer spend patterns, Liberty Latin America selected SAP Commerce Cloud (with the telco and utilities accelerator and SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement) as the vendor and platform to accelerate a multinational online sales rollout.

SAP Commerce Cloud delivered a single, reusable e‑commerce instance that could be localized by country—supporting complex subscriptions, regional branding, languages and time zones—and integrated orders into regional CRM systems. Using the telco accelerator and SAP Emarsys for targeted cross‑sell and up‑sell, SAP Commerce Cloud enabled go‑live in 5 months and deployment across five markets within about 10 months, gave Liberty Latin America a consistent sales‑to‑service customer experience, and positioned the company to scale the platform across more than 20 markets.
