Case Study: Epson achieves unified global B2B and B2C storefronts and faster time-to-value with SAP Commerce Cloud

A SAP Commerce Cloud Case Study

Preview of the Epson Case Study

How Epson is Making the Customer Experience Easy

Epson, a global technology leader in inkjet, visual communications, wearables and robotics, faced a fragmented digital landscape with 13 web systems across 37 countries, multiple ERP systems, siloed B2B and B2C sites, inconsistent brand experiences, and duplicated work. To unify its storefronts and improve customer experience, Epson selected SAP Commerce Cloud as the single platform to consolidate its online presence.

Using SAP Commerce Cloud, Epson integrated its B2B and B2C storefronts onto a common architecture with shared data and code and seamless backend connections, enabling easier maintenance and faster processes; the rollout completed in about 6–7 months with new countries onboarded in roughly 2.5 months each. The SAP Commerce Cloud implementation increased digital agility, boosted synergies and traffic across sites, reduced redundancy and maintenance effort, and delivered faster time to value.
