How does a streamlined job description management process help to improve patient care

Tower Health, a regional healthcare system serving 2.5 million people with 14,000 employees across 230 locations, faced a heavily manual job-description creation and update process that hampered visibility and slowed hiring during a period of rapid growth by acquisition. To solve this, Tower Health engaged SAP Commerce Cloud (working with SAP partner HRIZONS) and adopted HRIZONS JDMS integrated with SAP SuccessFactors to replace email-based requests and centralize JD management.

SAP Commerce Cloud helped implement HRIZONS JDMS as a single, governed platform—fully integrated with SAP SuccessFactors—so job descriptions are centrally stored, created and approved via a clear workflow. The result was a fully managed process with real stakeholder involvement, streamlined inclusion of the compensation team, consistent pay levels and salary grades, elimination of ad-hoc email requests, and all job descriptions integrated into the HR system—freeing HR to focus on higher-value work.
