MHE-Demag, APAC’s largest material handling provider, needed to transform how it sells 13,000 products (cranes, hoists, spare parts and rentals) by adding 24/7 eCommerce and tighter integration with existing ERP systems to improve responsiveness, speed up order-to-delivery times, and support a growing rental market. To meet these goals they selected SAP Commerce Cloud (alongside SAP S/4HANA) to extend automation and self-service capabilities across their sales channels.

Using SAP Commerce Cloud, MHE-Demag launched a webshop that lets customers buy or rent equipment and parts around the clock, with eCommerce fully integrated into ERP for inventory and finance. The implementation cut quotation times from days to hours, reduced standard order processing from hours to minutes, eliminated outdated print-catalog costs, and lowered the cost of sale while enabling faster delivery via an integrated regional supply chain—helping MHE-Demag reach new customers and improve customer satisfaction.
