How can a global organization meet complex safety reporting needs

Schindler Group, a global maker of elevators, escalators and moving walkways with 63,000+ employees in 100+ countries, needed to replace an outdated in‑house tool and centralize health and safety reporting to meet complex local and global regulatory requirements. To address this, Schindler adopted the Sodales Enterprise Health, Safety & Environment app from SAP partner Sodales Solutions within the SAP ecosystem — here referenced with the vendor SAP Commerce Cloud.

SAP Commerce Cloud (working with Sodales Solutions) implemented the Sodales platform integrated with Schindler’s SAP SuccessFactors HRMS and SAP Cloud Platform to standardize incident reporting, country‑compliant forms, audits, corrective‑action workflows and training gap analysis. The solution improved corrective‑action processing, aligned operations with global and local regulations, reduced lost‑time and injury‑frequency rates, and enabled better targeting of training programs while meeting Schindler’s security and privacy requirements.
