Delivering Digital Energy Services to Utilities by Creating an SAP-Certified Solution Built on SAP® Business Technology Platform

energyOS, a provider of digital services helping utilities transition to clean, decentralized energy, faced the challenge of migrating its eOS solution from third‑party software to SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), reproducing real‑world meter‑to‑cash conditions in test environments, and integrating with utility systems that use variable and low‑quality datasets. To address this, energyOS partnered with SAP Commerce Cloud and leveraged SAP BTP, SAP for Utilities, and SAP Integration and Certification Center services to design a certified, enterprise‑grade solution.

SAP Commerce Cloud led the migration and certification of the eOS solution on SAP BTP, integrated it with SAP for Utilities, and consolidated time‑series, transaction, and analytics databases into a single SAP application. The result was the launch of "eOS for SAP for Utilities" on the SAP Store as an SAP‑certified offering, giving energyOS access to SAP specialist teams, opportunities to demonstrate the solution to new markets, and several strategic milestones that advanced its market expansion.
