Casey’s, a 2,000+ store convenience and prepared-foods retailer, needed to replace legacy digital ordering systems to boost e-commerce, launch a mobile food-ordering app, and build a customer-centric loyalty program to increase retention and respond faster to market changes. To achieve this, Casey’s engaged SAP Commerce Cloud (along with SAP Customer Data Cloud and SAP Customer Experience Services) to modernize its digital stack and simplify integration across digital and in-store touch points.

Using SAP Commerce Cloud, Casey’s rolled out a new e-commerce platform, mobile app, and the Casey’s Rewards loyalty program, integrating ordering, payment, and kitchen order management while enabling cross-sell and personalized offers. The result: about 65% of digital revenue coming from the mobile app within five months, roughly 3 million app downloads, higher average order value through cross-sell and targeted promotions, and the agility to pivot during COVID-19 with no-contact delivery and curbside pickup — all delivered via SAP Commerce Cloud.
