How CHRIST increased revenue and customer retention with SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP Emarsys

CHRIST Juwelier, a German retail jeweler with ~2,400 employees, faced fragmented data silos and integration challenges that limited performance and personalized customer engagement. To turn occasional gift buyers into repeat customers, they selected SAP Commerce Cloud together with SAP Emarsys (implemented with partner KPS) to unify data and enable omnichannel personalization.

KPS implemented an SAP Commerce Cloud webshop integrated with SAP Emarsys to optimize data usage and deliver personalized email, web, web-push and mobile-wallet experiences (with WhatsApp planned). The SAP Commerce Cloud solution achieved >99.9% uptime and handled about half a million peak-season orders, while SAP Emarsys drove a 10–15% uplift in email open rates and a 30–40% year-over-year revenue increase (up to +40% reported), plus 60,000 orders shipped from 200+ stores during the holiday peak.
