Vedotec, founded in 2002, supplies parts for temperature, air quality, lighting and more, offering over 9,100 items (about half orderable online). Their original web store (since 2011) didn’t give customers easy, always-available access to detailed product information, caused many routine phone inquiries, and lacked the ERP/PIM integration Vedotec wanted to automate and scale.
Vedotec rebuilt its e-commerce on Sana Commerce, integrated directly with SAP Business One and the Compano PIM to display real-time, rich product data and customer-specific pricing. The new store improved site performance and responsiveness, reduced sales team phone traffic, increased customer satisfaction, and enabled faster content updates and online marketing.
