Royal Brinkman, a Dutch supplier and consultant for the professional horticulture industry, wanted to boost efficiency and get traditional, reluctant customers to buy online while helping them navigate a 30,000‑item assortment. Convincing customers to adopt e‑commerce and making such a large catalog usable were the main challenges.

Partnering with Sana Commerce, Royal Brinkman launched the My Royal Brinkman portal integrated with Dynamics AX to provide personalized order histories, customer‑specific pricing, payment and shipping options, plus self‑service kiosks, seven product categories, faceted search and targeted promotions. The new, user‑friendly web store drove higher e‑commerce sales and increased overall revenue.
