Case Study: Ravensburger achieves rapid go-to-market and streamlined internal processes with Sana Commerce

A Sana Commerce Case Study

Preview of the Ravensburger Case Study

How Ravensburger achieved a quick go-to-market and improved internal processes by making its SAP ECC work as one with its e-commerce

Ravensburger, a long-established European puzzle and game company founded in 1883 (2,304 employees and €632M sales in 2020), faced declining use of an outdated online retailer portal that offered little more than a static product catalog. Time-consuming, error-prone order entry (email, fax, manual processing), slow communication with retailers and competitive pressure — reinforced by a customer survey where most retailers asked for online ordering — created an urgent need for a modern B2B portal.

Ravensburger chose Sana Commerce for its direct SAP ECC integration and fast implementation, rolling out the new portal in about seven months. The integrated store delivers real-time stock and customer-specific pricing, CSV order upload, multi-shop support for international rollout and richer customer content (news, catalogs, marketing assets). The result: faster go-to-market, reduced administrative work, more time for sales to consult customers, and positive feedback from both staff and retailers.
