Case Study: Zijlstra achieves 33% of orders online and expands dropshipping with Sana Commerce

A Sana Commerce Case Study

Preview of the Zijlstra Case Study

How furniture supplier Zijlstra, used dropshipping to move its B2B customers online

Zijlstra is a Dutch furniture and lighting supplier with roots back to 1957, production in Asia and a 10,000 m2 Dutch warehouse. With a strong offline reputation and three web stores, the company needed an e-commerce solution that matched its brand experience and handled the complexity of B2B operations — especially seamless, real-time integration with its ERP, Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Zijlstra built its web presence on Dynamics AX as the single source of truth and chose Sana Commerce for 100% real-time integration, adding features like dropshipping to encourage B2B customers to order online. Since launching in July 2014, online order share grew from 1% to 33% by August 2017 after an upgrade, and Zijlstra set a target of 60% online orders in 2018.
