Basiq Dental, a European supplier of certified dental products, needed a faster, easier way for dentists and clinic staff to order from a large, complex assortment after moving to SAP. Their existing e-commerce site was outdated and customers struggled to find products or reorder typical dental-market items like wish lists and templates, so the company sought an SAP-integrated solution that would fully leverage their ERP investment.
Basiq implemented Sana Commerce (SAP-certified), launching multiple country web stores and rebuilding product categories so customers can find items quickly while marketing manages the front end without IT support. Features like wish-list ordering, order templates and the Basiq Scan barcode ordering tool simplified repeat purchases; as a result the new stores sharpened Basiq’s market position, drove about 50% of profit from web sales and increased online users by making the offline-to-online transition smoother.
