Revive Kombucha, a Sonoma County brewer that grew from a farmers‑market favorite into a national brand sold at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods and backed by investors, needed to scale production without sacrificing the product quality and sustainability that define its brand. Moving into a 50,000 sq ft facility and increasing changeovers created risks around temperature control, misprinted lot codes and best‑by dates, inconsistent fill levels, and inefficient water use — all of which could undermine quality and slow expansion.

Revive implemented Samsara’s environmental monitors, machine‑vision system, and a centralized dashboard to monitor cooler temps, verify labels and lot codes, automate fill checks, and track water usage in real time. The solution eliminated manual guesswork, improved first‑pass yield, reduced waste and scrap, provided documented proof of quality for distributors, and gave the company the operational visibility to support rapid growth (now distributed across 48 states and roughly 1,600 locations).
