RelaDyne, a growing fleet and operations company, needed a better way to coach and communicate with hundreds of drivers as it expanded and dealt with siloed data. Using the Samsara Connected Operations Cloud, including dash cams and safety tools, RelaDyne sought to improve safety, gain driver buy-in, and streamline claims and coaching workflows.

Samsara helped RelaDyne roll out dual-facing dash cams in phases, add real-time coaching and Safety Scores, and automate Positive Recognition for safe driving. The results included an 82% decrease in insurance claims frequency, $350,000 saved in insurance costs, up to 180 hours saved processing claims, a 14% improvement in average Driver Safety Score, and major reductions in harsh events, speeding, and other risky behaviors.
