MLGW transforms their utilities operations with Samsara’s integrated platform

Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) needed to minimize costs while continuing to deliver exceptional utility service, including reducing incidents, streamlining exoneration, and improving service restoration across a large fleet. To address these challenges, MLGW partnered with Samsara and adopted the Samsara Connected Operations Cloud, starting with 675 vehicles before expanding to its full 1,500-vehicle fleet.

Samsara implemented real-time visibility tools, AI Dash Cams, and GPS tracking to improve safety coaching, driver engagement, and asset location. With Samsara, MLGW accelerated service restoration, strengthened its safety culture, and improved operational efficiency, helping the utility minimize incidents, maintain low rates, and deliver better service.
