GP Transco is a Chicago-area trucking and logistics company with 400 drivers, 410 tractors and 550 trailers operating across the U.S. and Canada. As the company scaled, its challenge was to improve safety, fuel efficiency and driver retention while giving drivers a stronger voice—something GP Transco couldn’t fully measure or manage without better visibility into fuel use and on-road behavior.

GP Transco partnered with Samsara, deploying Fuel & Energy reports, Driver Efficiency reports, idling alerts and AI dash cams plus a data-driven FUEL coaching program. The results: $350K in annual fuel savings, a 66% reduction in speeding, a 30% drop in accidents, 34% driver turnover (about 60% lower than the industry average), plus big gains in distracted driving, seat-belt use and tailgating, and an improved CSA Unsafe Driving score.
