Automated Dairy is an OEM and service provider for dairy operations across the Western United States that developed the TURBOSPRAY system to automate inconsistent, labor‑intensive teat dip application. With nearly 100 sprayers deployed in rural barns and many customers lacking on‑site networks, the company needed remote visibility, faster troubleshooting, and a way to reduce costly, frequent truck rolls while maximizing equipment uptime.

By partnering with Samsara, Automated Dairy installed cellular‑connected industrial controllers that tie into each unit’s PLC to monitor dip levels, temperatures, cycle counts and send alerts, plus enable remote control. The solution cut unnecessary site visits, sped diagnosis and fixes, and enabled data‑driven preventative maintenance based on actual cycles—improving uptime, aligning service with customer downtime, and delivering a more efficient customer experience.
