DPR Construction, which grew to 29 offices and around 200 active job sites, faced fragmented service and asset data across subsidiaries, vendors and financial systems—often reconciled by spreadsheets. This created data corruption, lack of visibility (they couldn’t locate thousands of leased computers) and noisy manual processes. After evaluating options, DPR selected Samanage for its speed, cost and cultural fit to consolidate IT service management and asset tracking.

Using Samanage’s Service Desk and custom integrations with Workday, their leasing vendor and FedEx, DPR automated onboarding/offboarding workflows, tied assets to users via serial numbers, moved returned devices into an “on-hold” inventory group, and generated/tracked shipping labels. The result was consolidated, accurate service and inventory data, faster automated processes, better asset visibility and reduced manual effort and billing risk.
