A Salsify Case Study
Walker Edison is a Salt Lake City–based ecommerce furniture designer that manages nearly 1,800 SKUs and a robust white-label business with 30–70 new products and styling images added monthly. The content team relied on password-protected Excel files and shared drives, so product copy, photos and videos lived separately and manual item setup made meeting each retailer’s specific requirements slow and error-prone.
In 2021 Walker Edison adopted Salsify (with implementation help from Aleysian) to centralize PIM and DAM data, establish channel-specific properties and a consistent asset naming convention, and onboard 10 retailers in six months. The platform now houses ~150,000 assets, supports 17 sales channels, automates 70–80% of required retailer data mapping, and reduced multi-day image prep to an automated process—freeing the six-person content team to scale listings and further refine enhanced content and automation.
