Rawlings Improves Sales Partnerships Across the Field with Salsify Catalog Sites

Rawlings Sporting Goods, founded in 1887 and based in St. Louis, is a leading maker of baseball and softball equipment with more than 9,000 SKUs sold through major retailers and smaller dealers alike. When it released a large batch of new products, the company struggled to efficiently share up-to-date product information and marketing assets across 40–50 sales reps and partners — a manual, multi-step process that could take 10–12 clicks and about 10 minutes to find and download the needed assets.

Rawlings adopted Salsify Catalog Sites on top of its PXM platform to create shoppable, read-only catalog sites with SKU-level specs, inventory, marketing copy and rich media, plus account-specific catalogs that can be built in about 30 minutes. The change cut asset retrieval from ~10 minutes to ~10 seconds, improved navigation and data consistency, streamlined SEO and DTC/channel listings, and enabled partners to self-serve, boosting efficiency and product engagement across retail channels.
