Nestlé Purina PetCare, part of Nestlé, sought to keep its product content best-in-class while managing nearly 6,000 products and 104,000 digital assets. Retailers began enforcing a 95% content score across assortments, and Purina’s legacy spreadsheets and portals couldn’t scale or speed up the work needed to meet those evolving PDP requirements.
Purina implemented Salsify to automate cross-team workflows and task assignments, track and approve edits, and directly syndicate updates to retailers like Walmart, Amazon, and Sam’s Club. The change centralized content management, sped time-to-market, preserved content control and SEO, and produced rapid score gains (example: Sam’s Club improved from 87% to 95%).
