Jackson Family Wines, a family-owned global vintner behind brands like Kendall-Jackson and La Crema, embarked on a digital transformation in 2021 and selected Salsify PXM as its central PIM/PXM. Managing more than 18,000 SKUs across 40+ brands with 700–1,000 new products annually exposed limitations in their flat data model: repeated data entry, slow time-to-market, and difficulty scaling for both retail and DTC channels.
To fix this, the team built a four-tier hierarchy in Salsify with automated ERP-to-Salsify categorization, role-based workflows, custom readiness reports, and scheduled publishes—enabling shared attribution across brands while preserving product individuality. The changes reduced manual work, improved PDP experiences (toggle between package sizes), sped product launches via a Salsify-to-Salesforce channel, and increased platform adoption to 24 users, delivering clear efficiency and time-to-market gains.
