Franprix Onboards Nearly 1,200 Suppliers in Just 3 Months With Automated Data Management

Franprix, a French grocery retailer with more than 1,000 city-center stores and €1.44 billion in 2021 sales, needed to onboard nearly 1,200 suppliers onto the Salsify PXM platform in three months to populate its m-commerce app and improve product-catalog reliability. The team faced time-consuming manual data collection from disparate, unreliable sources and required a scalable, technically and organizationally agile solution.

Franprix built a supplier-driven catalog on Salsify, using a dedicated onboarding coordinator, platform CTAs and chat, onboarding reports, linked supplier accounts, and training sessions to accelerate self-entry and monitoring. In three months they automated and centralized product data management for almost 14,000 SKUs, enabling immediate supplier-driven updates and significantly improving responsiveness and catalog reliability.
